Overview
You can configure an Induction process for a new worker to submit certain information about him/herself. This information can include built-in user profile fields, custom fields, credentials, and to read briefing material.
The worker will prompted for induction either when setting their own personal mobile device with Fareclock, or on a group time clock device when clocking IN for the first time. They can also review and update this information later on if something changes.
Set up
To specify which built-in user profile fields are displayed for induction and/or update, go in the Console to Settings -> Users -> Defaults -> Worker role settings, and configure Induction Fields and Update Fields. If any of those fields are required (as opposed to optional), you can also configure Required Fields.
You can also create Custom Fields that the worker can fill out during induction or update in the mobile app.

Time clock
If a worker sets up Fareclock on their personal mobile device, then they will be prompted for Induction upon set up of the app. For more information on setting up personal devices, check out the following Help Center article: Can employees set up the Fareclock app on their own personal devices?
Upon Induction, the worker will be prompted to fill out the User Profile fields:
The worker will also be prompted to enter any necessary credentials and read briefings. Check those Help Center articles linked to above for more screenshots on those features.
After initial Induction, the worker can update User Profile fields on the Clock IN screen under the Actions tab:
You can view and update the Induction status on any specific user in the Console under Settings -> Users in that user's Status section:
