Pre-Installation by the Admin

Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click the ‘Users’ section, and select the worker for whom you want to send the link for installation.
Step 2: After selecting the user, you will find a settings option underneath where you can locate 'Personal Device Settings'.
Step 3: Tick the box next to 'Enable Personal Device'.
Once you check the box, the following will appear on your screen:
Step 4: Provide the required information, including your mobile number and/or email. The admin must also select the 'Personal Device Mode' for that specific account. Select one on the reinstall permission: either allow the administrator to send a link or permit users to enter their own email or phone number in the app to receive a new code.
Step 5: After providing all the necessary information, click 'Save and Close' at the bottom of the page.
Step 6: After clicking it, a window will prompt you with the 'Send Device Activation Link' option. You can either copy the link and save it for your records or send the link to the email provided in the user's data.
Step 7: Once you click 'Send Email' to the provided address, the system will automatically send an email to it.
Installation Set-up for the User (Android)

Step 1: Upon clicking the installation link, you will be directed to Google Play Store and you need to download the application. After downloading it, press 'Enable' and then 'Open'.
Once completed, you will see this on your screen. If this appears, simply tap 'Submit'.
Step 2: You will be directed to a 'Confirm Setup' page and you need to verify your organization, user name, and language selection. Once everything is confirmed, tap 'Confirm' to proceed.
You're all set! Welcome to Fareclock. Before getting started, you need to enroll your face model. Refer to a separate Getting Started article for instructions on how to do this.

Setting Up Fareclock on a Personal Device (For Workers)
This article will guide workers through the proper process of setting up the Fareclock mobile app on their personal devices. It also includes important notes to avoid setting up a free trial account by mistake, and how to delete a trial account if one has already been created.
Step 1: Download the Fareclock app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Step 2: Once you're approved to use Fareclock on your personal device, your administrator will send you a unique activation link via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or Viber.
After installing the app, open the link from your admin. It will automatically configure the app and connect your device to your company’s Fareclock account.
Note that you should not tap "Create Account." Some users mistakenly do this when opening the app, which results in a free trial account that is not connected to your company. If this happens, you won’t be able to clock in and will have limited access to the app.
If you created the wrong account, here’s how to fix it:
Step 1: Open the Fareclock app.
Step 2: Tap the menu icon (☰) at the top-left.
Step 3: Select "Delete Account" and confirm.
Step 4: After deletion, go back to the original installation link sent by your administrator.
Step 5: Open it again or manually enter the code by tapping “I have a Code” in the app.
Step 6: Enter the code here.
