Publishing Shift Schedule Changes and Notifying Workers
With Schedule Publishing, you can notify workers whenever their individual shift schedules change. This feature is available to organizations on the Premium Plan.
Setup
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click ‘Shifts’.
Step 2: Tick the box next to Enable Schedule Publishing to turn on this feature.
Once Schedule Publishing is enabled, any changes made to an individual worker’s shift schedule (not team schedules) will be tracked as pending for publishing.
To Publish
After updating a worker’s schedule, click the Publish button above.
If you prefer not to notify workers about recent changes, click 'Ignore' to clear the current publish tracking. This will prevent notifications from being sent.
To publish, click 'Save'. Once published, the worker will receive a notification in their Fareclock app.
