Step 2: Edit the maximum length of your shifts.
Step 3: Adjust the Advanced Settings for "Maximum time clocked out during shift" and "Minimum time between shifts." For maximum flexibility, you can set both to 0.

II. Multiple Scheduled Shifts
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Manage. Under ‘Manage’ find and click the ‘Schedule’.
After clicking, the following will appear on your screen:
Step 2: To schedule multiple shifts for a worker, click the '+' icon in the appropriate cell of the existing schedule.
This will open a modal to create a new shift:
Step 3: You can assign the shift to either a single worker or multiple workers by clicking the downward arrow button here:
Step 4: You need to select a shift class for the worker(s) or create a new shift class if needed.
Optional: You can make the new shift recurring by checking the box next to 'Shift is repeating'.
Step 5: You also have the option to select the Job for this worker or these workers.
Optional: If 'Costing Selection is Partial' is enabled, you will be prompted on the Time Clock application to select any fields that were not locked.
Step 6: You can also select a geo fence setting and add notes here.
Step 7: Select “Save” to confirm and add the shift to the schedule.
When an employee clocks in for a new shift, Fareclock will automatically select the most suitable matching shift. It first looks for the latest scheduled shift with a fixed time that matches. If the shift has already been used that day, it won’t be reused. If no fixed shift matches, Fareclock will then search for a scheduled flexible shift. If there is still no match and Open Shifts are allowed, it will use an Open Shift.
