Fareclock’s reports offer extensive customization options, enabling you to tailor-fit them to your needs. Key features include:
- Column Customization: Select which columns to display, adjust their order, and define their widths.
- Column Formatting: Customize the format of individual columns, including date, time, total hours, and employee name formats.
- Filtering Options: Filter data based on various criteria such as date ranges, individual workers, groups of workers (e.g., departments, organizational units, pay classes), or tags (e.g., rejected, non-rejected, overridden punches).
- Data Grouping: Organize data by rows or use column grouping to create summary tables for enhanced analysis.
These features provide the flexibility to create reports that align with your workflow and reporting requirements.
Report Settings
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Reports.
Step 2: Once you've selected your report, you'll see the report's top panel, as follows:
Step 3: You can set your Date Range using a Preset (e.g., Last Pay Period), or enter a custom range.
Step 4: For additional customization options, click the "Customize" button. A drawer panel will pop out of the right side of the screen, as follows:
You'll be able to set filters, groupings, columns, and other options.
Step 5: Once ready, click "Run Report”.
Step 6: Click the Export button at the top to print your report or save it as a CSV, Excel, or PDF file.
Memorize Reports
Step 1: Once you have tailored the report to your preferences, you can save your settings by clicking the Memorize button located at the bottom of the Customize panel on the right.
Step 2: You have the option to save the memorized report for your personal use or share it with other administrators within your organization. Additionally, you will assign a name to the memorized report for easy identification. A memorized report can also be overwritten if needed.
You can access all your memorized reports from the left menu under the Report subsection.
Step 3: To run a memorized report, simply click on its title.
If the report includes a preset date range, such as "Today" or "Last Pay Period," the date range will automatically update to reflect the current date each time the report is run.
Scheduled Reports
You also have the option to schedule a memorized report to be automatically emailed to you on a recurring basis.
Step 1: Click the Schedule link next to the memorized report listing.
Step 2: Select the export attachment formats you want to receive.
Step 3: Configure your preferred schedule by selecting the desired frequency, such as daily at a specific time, on certain days of the week, biweekly, semimonthly, or at the end of each pay period. Additionally, you can specify extra recipient email addresses if needed.
Formats
You can set certain formats for displaying information, such as date format. These formats are global to your entire account for all administrators, and apply to the entire Admin Console.
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click ‘Organization’.
Step 2: Click on the "Formats" tab.
Step 3: Adjust according to your preferences for your organization.
