User Bulk Action provides administrators with an efficient way to manage multiple user accounts simultaneously. This feature supports key actions such as activating or deactivating users, sending personal device installation links, and more—all in bulk.
Note that you can also bulk import updates from a spreadsheet for even greater efficiency. For more information, refer to the help article on bulk importing users.
1. Activate - This bulk action tool allows you to reactivate several users simultaneously for efficient user management.
2. Deactivate - Allows you to deactivate multiple users at the same time, saving you the effort of updating each profile individually. This is useful for offboarding inactive employees or managing seasonal workers efficiently.
3. Add Labels - Easily apply one or more existing labels to multiple users at once to help categorize and manage your workforce efficiently. This option is additive and does not remove any existing labels. You can also choose to retroactively apply these label changes to all existing time cards for accurate reporting.
4. Remove Labels - Quickly clear labels from multiple users at the same time to keep your user data organized. You have the option to retroactively update all existing time cards with these changes for reporting purposes.
5. Send Personal Device Install Link - Easily distribute app install links to multiple users simultaneously for quick setup.
6. Set Attendance Policy - Use this bulk action to assign attendance policies to multiple users simultaneously. This helps ensure consistent enforcement of attendance rules and reminders across your workforce and improves compliance.
7. Set Compensation - This feature lets you update pay rates for multiple workers at once, but it will overwrite any existing pay rates.
8. Set Department - This feature lets you assign the department for multiple users simultaneously. It helps maintain accurate organizational structure and ensures workers are grouped correctly for reporting and management purposes. There is an option to retroactively update all existing time cards with these changes for reporting purposes.
9. Set Geo Fences - Easily assign location-based boundaries to multiple users at once, helping ensure accurate job tracking and attendance based on their work locations.
10. Set Labels - Replace any existing labels on selected users with the ones you choose. This fully overwrites the user’s label list. You can also retroactively apply these changes to all existing time cards for consistent and accurate reporting.
11. Set Org Units - Assign an org unit to multiple users at once to ensure consistent classification and accurate reporting across your workforce. There is an option to retroactively update all existing time cards with these changes for reporting purposes.
12. Set Pay Class - Apply a specific pay class to multiple users at once to standardize pay rules, such as overtime calculations and pay periods, across your workforce. There is an option to retroactively update all existing time cards with these changes for reporting purposes.
13. Set Personal Device Settings - Apply personal device settings (Admin, Group Time Clock, or Personal Time Clock) to multiple users at once. This helps manage how users access the app based on their assigned roles or device usage.
14. Set Team Schedule - Apply a specific team schedule to multiple users at once, ensuring consistent shift assignments and simplifying schedule management across teams.
15. Set Time Off Policy - You can apply the same time off policy to multiple users at once, ensuring consistent leave rules across your team.
16. Set Worker Org Unit Access - Grant multiple workers permission to access one or more org units.
17. Set Nationality - Set nationality in bulk to update the country of origin for multiple workers at once, helping keep personal records accurate and consistent. Optionally, this will retroactively update all existing time cards with these changes for reporting purposes.
