If your organization requires line managers to review and approve employee time off requests, you can configure administrator permissions so that each manager only receives requests from the employees they supervise.
Fareclock allows you to control which workers an administrator can access by configuring User Fields in the Permissions section. Once the appropriate permissions are assigned, the administrator will only receive time off requests and access information for workers who match their permission criteria.
Configure Administrator Permissions
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click ‘Users’.
Step 2: You will see a list of users, click on the admin for whom you want to edit the permissions.
Step 3: Open the Permissions section. Under Admin Role Permissions, configure the criteria that determine which workers the administrator can manage, such as Org Units or Departments.
Enable Time Off Request Notifications
After configuring the administrator's permissions:
Step 1: Open the administrator's profile, navigate to the Notifications section.
Step 2: Enable ‘Time Off Requests’.
