Fareclock includes an attendance policy setting that can automatically deactivate a user when they miss a clock OUT.
When this setting is enabled, Fareclock automatically deactivates the user if they do not record a clock OUT according to the configured attendance policy.
Enable
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and navigate to Operations. Under the Operations section, find and click Attendance.
Step 2: Click Settings, then select Policies.
Step 3: Select the Attendance Policy you want to configure and enable ‘Auto Deactivate User on Missed OUT.’
Once enabled, users who miss a required clock OUT will be automatically deactivated based on the attendance policy.
Assign Workers to Attendance Policy
Per Worker:
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and navigate to HR Portal. Under the HR Portal section, find and click Users.
Step 2: You will see a list of users, click on the user you want to edit.
Step 3: Under Attendance, you can assign a policy to each worker individually.
In Bulk:
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and navigate to HR Portal. Under the HR Portal section, find and click Users.
Step 2: Click the Bulk Select button located at the top of the page.
Step 3: Select the workers you want to assign an attendance policy to by checking the box next to their names.
Step 4: Click the dropdown arrow, then select Set Attendance Policy.
To ensure new workers are always assigned to a policy before being added, you can make Attendance Policy a required field. To do this, go to HR Portal > Users > Settings > Defaults > Worker Role Settings, and add Attendance Policy to the Required Fields list.
