Why are the times displayed on my time clock not correct?

Some customers have noticed that times displayed on the time clock are not correct. Usually when they're not correct, they're 1 hour off. This can occur because the time is displayed on the clock based on the timezone system setting for your iPad/iPhone/iPod. The Apple device is automatically configured to detect timezone. However, sometimes it might be incorrect by one timezone, or it might not adjust for daylight savings time in your timezone. To correct this:

  • Open your your device's Settings app.
  • Go to General ==>  Date & Time.
  • Turn off "Set Automatically", and manually set your timezone by searching for your city, or nearest major city in your time zone.
We do plan to eventually workaround this Apple issue in our software by only using the timezone set in the Fareclock Admin Console.
