This guide walks you through using the Mobile Time Clock in Personal Time Clock mode without Face or PIN verification. It covers basic features like clocking in and out, viewing your shifts, and managing your time records.
1. Notifications - This section allows you to manage how you receive updates in the Fareclock app. You can edit your notification preferences to choose which types of alerts you want to receive—such as shift reminders, time-off updates, and attendance infractions. To keep your notification center organized, you can also use the Clear All button to remove all current notifications from the list.
Worker:
Inbox means the notification will appear in the notification list without triggering an alert, while Alert + Inbox will display the notification in the list and also send a real-time alert to the worker.
2. Clock IN / OUT - Allows employees to accurately record the start and end of their work shifts directly within the app. By clicking this, the worker's dashboard will appear, providing access to notifications with date and time, announcements, current clock-in/out status, shift details, and geo-location information.
Workers can also navigate to the Actions tab to view company briefings and credentials, submit missed punches and time-off requests, and manage their user profile. Under the Reports tab, they can access pay stubs, punch history, shift calendar, and total tallies.
3. Briefings - When enabled in the console, this section will display any briefings shared by your organization. These briefings, typically in PDF format, contain important company updates or policy changes. You are required to review and acknowledge each briefing to confirm your understanding and compliance.
4. Credentials - When enabled in the console, the 'Credentials' tab allows you to manage and track required documents and certifications. This may include items like passports, work visas, driver’s licenses, or job-specific credentials such as first aid certification. Keeping this information updated helps ensure compliance with your organization’s requirements.
5. Pay stubs - Provides secure access to view and download official payroll statements.
6. Punch History - Displays a comprehensive log of all recorded time punches for reference and verification.
7. Shift Calendar - Shows assigned shifts and work schedules in a clear, calendar-based format.
8. Time Off - You have the option to submit time off requests as a worker. You can also view your accruals and leave balances.
9. Total Tallies - Summarizes total hours worked, including regular time, overtime, and other tracked categories.
Export/Share Total Tallies Report (Personal Device)
From your personal device, you can export or share a summary of your total worked hours, including regular time, overtime, and other pay codes. Choose a date range, then export the report as PDF. You can send it via email or share it using other apps on your phone.
10. User Profile - The User Profile section in the mobile app contains fields that workers are permitted to update. Administrators can configure these settings in the Console.
