Fareclock allows you to send important notifications and alerts to selected admins. These alerts cover various activity areas like attendance, shift reminders, and more. This article walks you through how to set up notifications so that admins can receive them as needed.
Note that notification access depends on the permissions granted by the account owner. Admins will only receive alerts based on the scope appropriate to their tasks or responsibilities.
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click ‘Users’.
Step 2: You will see a list of users, click on the admin you want to receive alerts.
Step 3: Under the ‘Notification’ section, tick the checkboxes for the alerts you want the admin to receive.
Attendance alerts - If enabled, the user will receive email notifications for Attendance Events and push notifications for Attendance Infractions.
Billing events - If enabled, the user will receive email notifications for all subscription-related events, including billing and renewals. Only Account Owners or Super Admins with permission to Manage Billing can receive these notifications.
Credential alerts - This notification is triggered when a worker updates a credential or attempts to clock in using an invalid credential.
Custom field triggers - This notification is triggered when a worker submits a custom field that meets a condition set to alert administrators.
Device alerts - If enabled, the user will receive notifications related to devices, including alerts for offline status or incorrect system time.
Geo location alerts - If enabled, the user will receive geo location alerts, such as when a worker exits a geofence or experiences a connection timeout.
Missed punch requests - Notifications are sent to workers when an admin reviews and approves or rejects their missed punch request.
Shift reminders - Shift reminders can be configured within an Attendance Policy, with the option to notify administrators as well as the worker for each reminder.
Time off requests - Workers receive a notification once their submitted time off request has been approved or denied by an admin.
Administrators can also send messages directly to workers through the Fareclock mobile app for announcements or specific reminders.
Under ‘Notifications,’ select ‘Send Notification Message to this User.’
