You can set up an Induction process for new workers to submit required information such as profile details, custom fields, credentials, and briefings.
The induction prompt will appear when a worker sets up their personal mobile device or clocks in for the first time on a group time clock. Workers can also review and update this information later if needed.
Setup
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click ‘Users’.
Step 2: Click the ‘Defaults’ tab above.
Under 'Worker Role Settings', you can configure Induction Fields and Update Fields. If any of these fields are marked as required rather than optional, you can also define them under Required Fields.
You can also create Custom Fields for workers to complete during the induction process or update later through the mobile app.

Timeclock App
If a worker installs the app on their personal mobile device, they will be prompted to complete the Induction process during setup. For more information on configuring personal device access, refer to the Help Center article: Can Workers Set Up the Fareclock App on Their Own Devices
During Induction, the worker will be asked to complete the required User Profile fields:
After completing the initial Induction, the worker can update their User Profile fields from the Clock In screen by navigating to the Actions tab.
To view or update a user's Induction status, go to Settings > Users, then check the Status section in their profile.
