The Console allows you to bulk edit data or import it directly from spreadsheets. You can manage Users, Punches, Time Cards, Shift Schedules, Clock Logs, Jobs, Cost Codes, and Job Phases this way.
Bulk Edit Users
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Settings. Under ‘Settings’ find and click ‘Users’.
Step 2: Click the ‘Bulk Select’ button above.
Step 3: Click the downward arrow next to the "Bulk Action" button.
You can select individual Users by checking their boxes, or select all by clicking the top checkbox in the header row. By default, only the first 50 Users are shown. If you have more than 50 Users, click the 'More results' button below the list until all Users are loaded.
Once you’ve selected the Users to edit, click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the yellow Bulk Action button. A menu will appear with the available edit options.
You can learn more about User Bulk Action in this help article.

6. Set Shift Class - Lets you assign or update a shift class for punches.
7. Distribute Costing - This advanced feature lets you edit job costing allocations for punches. For example, if all workers clocked into a single job, you can later divide that time across multiple job phases by hours or by percentage.
8. Set Punch State - Allows you to change the status of a punch.
9. Skip Breaks - If your shift classes include required breaks, there may be cases where workers are allowed to skip them. This option lets you prevent the system from automatically removing those breaks. It’s also available for Time Cards, but you may prefer editing by Punch to filter by Job.
Bulk Edit Time Cards
Step 1: Go to the Fareclock Admin Console and go to Manage. Under ‘Manage’ find and click the ‘Time Cards’.
Step 2: Click the ‘Bulk Edit’ tab.
Step 3: Click the ‘Bulk Select’ button above.
Step 4: Click the downward arrow next to the "Bulk Action" button.
1.Extend Shift - If workers have shifts that start earlier or end later than usual, you can extend their shifts to ensure they are paid for all hours worked. The screenshot below shows an example of extending a shift by one hour.
2. Recalculate Shift - If you update Shift Class settings, the changes will not automatically apply to existing Punches and Time Cards. Use this Bulk Edit option to apply the updated settings to those records.
3. Set Shift Class - Update the Shift Class assigned to existing Time Cards.
4. Skip Breaks - If your shift classes include required breaks, there may be days when workers are allowed to skip them. This edit option lets you prevent the system from automatically removing the break. The option is also available for Time Cards. If you only want to skip breaks for specific jobs, it is better to edit the Punches instead, since a Job filter is available there.
